The champions Lahore Qalandars are facing Shadab Khan-led Islamabad United in the opening game of the PSL 2024 Schedule 2024 while Babar Azam’s Peshawar Zalmi take on Quetta Gladiators on February 18.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) released the full Pakistan Super League 2024 Schedule for Pakistan Super League 2024 on January 12, 2019, Friday afternoon. T20 franchise cricket will commence February 17 and end with Karachi National Bank Stadium’s National Bank Stadium hosting its final match on March 18 – a total of nine editions in total will take place this season!
Many overseas players are scheduled to play in both leagues. They could not be able to play at the start of the PSL 2024 Schedule 2024 or the last stage of ILT20 according to the conditions of their contracts as well as their franchise’s progress.
The PCB revealed the schedule to the PSL on Friday The tournament’s final game is scheduled for the 18th of March. Stages for knockouts will take place at Karachi in the very first time since. It will host 11 games. Lahore (nine game), Rawalpindi (nine) and Multan (five) will also play fixtures, but neither Quetta or Peshawar will.
Zaka Ashraf who is the chairman of PCB’s managing committee stated: “The decision to host the marquee tournament in the two cities is a testament to our determination to provide top-quality cricket to the cricket fans across the nation. We believe that playing matches at these venues doesn’t only add to the excitement of the fans, but also helps promote cricket at a base level.”
The PCB has recently concluded an updated broadcast agreement for 2024 and 2025 versions of the PSL and announced an increase of 113% in value for live streaming rights, and a 45 percent growth in broadcast rights. “It is an extraordinary moment because the costs for both rights are unparalleled,” Ashraf said. “This is a testimony to the development of the HBL PSL brand.”
