It is believed that the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) will likely to take place within India regardless of the nation is preparing for elections according to an BCCI source. The most famous cricket tournament is expected to begin on March 22nd and dates for the general elections will most likely to be revealed at the same time, however an official from BCCI said that they are certain it is likely that the IPL will be held in India. “There is no reason, as such moving the tournament to another country, since the general elections will take place at the same time. If a state does not want to host the event during that time, and with any reason that is justifiable the game could be moved to a different location,” a BCCI source said to ANI.

IPL 2024 Tournament to be held in India

Teams have already refined their squads since the end of the IPL 2024 auction that took place in Dubai earlier this month.
